Unfortunately, that didn't correct the battery killing problem, but that has since been resolved and my 10 year old van runs and sounds as good as new. I first bought Pioneer stereos for my vehicles because they had the best radio sections. None of the brands are great but Pioneer seems to me the least baffling of them all. This particular unit does not have Bluetooth but for not much more you can get one that does. It does have the usb port which I favor greatly over cds, but I now have the option for either. We went ahead with installation to avoid the hassle of returning the deck and installation parts and having to reschedule, no fault on Best Buy, just unsatisifed with the product not informing compatibility clearly. I was in need of a new radio, since the one that comes with my '02 still has an archaic cassette deck. I've had this for a month and so far, it's been great. I'm very impressed with the ease of use, as compared with other players I was looking at. Only downside is there is no Bluetooth, but if you just was a simple deck, this is the one for you. This may not be much of a shock to the reader, but it was for me: installation can be a little complicated, especially when you need to connect the wires to older cars. How anyone can offer a stereo that isn't Apple compatible in this day and age is beyond me, but that needs to be in huge letters on the front of the product box. I hired the Geek Squad to install it and less than an hour later she was on the road listening to her tunes.
