They flash by so quickly that they barely leave an imprint on your psyche—but if you dare pause the video for a closer look, the dioramas are absolutely disturbing. It makes us wonder if the pastel hues ease the edge, or intensify the surrealist horror. Against this unsettling backdrop, a mugshot resembling American serial killer John Wayne Gacy flickers across the screen.
