This launcher was modified in 2020 and uses primarily an artificial Java Native Interface to communicate with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. This 32bit Launcher was also portable to arm64 and x86_64 shortly after it was made available on the Google Play Store.
AppImageP
Prebuilt AppImage binary's for Linux and armv7. hardfloat and armv8 are available here. After downloading simply open terminal, chmod +x Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage and run it. Teamextrememc.org should be able to run it with double-click using some Filemanagers, just like a *.exe file on Windows. Otherwise run it from a Terminal ./Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage
If this is your first time installing an AppImage you will require an Icon in your Startmenu
- install AppImageLauncher - run the AppImage as before - AppImageLauncher will ask you to integrate it, just click yes. Now you can start and update the Launcher right from your startmenu
FlatpakP
Flathub also lets you install mcpelauncher under Linux. To install it, you must first setup Flatpak then start
If this is your first Flatpak installation, please log out from your Computer and sign in again to access the Launcher in your start menu. To run it, run
macOSP
You can download prebuilt macOS binary's here. Always copy the app to a file that you can write to, or the updater won't work.
