Andorra and Israel share some similarities but also have meaningful differences in their government structures and relationships with other states. Andorra is a microstate located in the Eastern Pyrenees mountains in Southwestern Europe, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south and east. It has a population of approximately 75,000 people and an area of just 468 square kilometers making it one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe.
Israel, in contrast, is located in Western Asia, bordering Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. With over 8 million residents living across an area of around 22,000 square kilometers, Israel has a much larger population and land area than Andorra. Politically, Andorra has a parliamentary democratic coprincipality, with the president of France and the bishop of Seo de Urgell as co-princes. Executive power is exercised by the government, while the unicameral General Council is the national legislature.
Israel has a more conventional parliamentary democratic republic system, with a directly elected president as head of state (ceremonial role) and prime minister as head of government. The unicameral 120-seat Knesset is Israel's legislature. Both Andorra and Israel have market economies and a relatively high human development index for their respective regions of Europe and the Middle East. However, key differences include Andorra using the euro while Israel uses the Israeli new shekel.
Andorra maintains friendly relations with both France and Spain but its foreign relations and defense are ultimately the responsibility of its co-princes. In contrast, Israel has more autonomy in conducting independent foreign policies and maintaining its own military forces, though it receives substantial military aid from key allies like the United States. Israel also faces ongoing geopolitical challenges from regional conflicts and tensions with neighbors such as the ongoing Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
In summary, while Andorra and Israel share some democratic principles and economic structures, they differ substantially in size, population, foreign relations and geopolitical contexts. Andorra has closer institutional links to France and Spain as a microstate, whereas Israel acts more independently as a sovereign nation amid complex regional dynamics in the Middle East. Their experience highlights both the possibilities and limitations for very small vs larger states in the international system.  - https://mbscore.tv/match/andorra-vs-israel-18713044
