In this very special period (Covid-19 for those who would read the article much later),many brides and grooms unfortunately have to postpone their beautiful event. Some choose to shift it in the summer (often on weekdays to keep their reception place and their providers) while others decide to get married in the fall, or in winter!
We love off-season weddings. We married ourselves in the winter, Chris and I! But we also did several shoots in the fall, so much we love this season. And we loved our wedding reports in October and November! So we thought: why not try to cheer up the bride and groom concerned by this postponement, giving you 10 good reasons to get married in the fall. This may also inspire other couples tempted by off-season marriages. We'll probably do another article later, to talk about winter weddings if you like.
A cocooning-themed wedding
Autumn... Temperatures drop slowly in this season, but are generally pleasant, especially on sunny days if you are lucky. It's a good time to consider a "half-outside" and "half-in" marriage! You will surely be able to enjoy a little of the park or garden of your reception place in the early afternoon, and take refuge indoors at the end of the day. With the freshness that returns, this season lends itself to comfort, warm colors, a cocooning and warm atmosphere! Your wedding theme can be inspired by all of this to be in tune with the season. We give you more "concrete" ideas to decline this theme in decoration and animations a little further!
