In general, dogs have their heat twice a year. The length of each breeding cycle may vary from dog or species to species, but once established, the cycle tends to be fairly regular.
In most cases, the dog will have little blood flow during its very first heat, which will be less the case afterwards. The heat period lasts on average three weeks: one week for the so-called pro-oestrus period and about two weeks for the period of oestrus. It is worth the cost of investing a little to make these periods easier for everyone.
Because in some homes, it is difficult to keep the dog inside, because of the floor (carpet, carpet ...) or furniture (canapé, light colored furniture ...) that can be easily stained.
The panties is then the right solution so you don't always have a cloth in your hand at home when your dog is in heat. And it also helps not to interfere with the hygiene of your home and to leave your favorite animal to live in peace with you during these periods.
