Often when you try to print something from your printer and select your printer, nothing happens. Then you realize that your printer is showing Offline, which you don’t know why because it is powered on and connected properly. You should know how to get a printer online when it is showing offline to save yourself from any trouble. There’s no need to lose your mind because it is a temporary error that can be fixed easily in five minutes. But before you follow the troubleshooting procedure, make sure two check a couple of things. That includes checking if your printer is switched on or not if it is connected to the PC properly, if the WiFi is working fine, and all the cables connected to the printer should be working fine and connected properly. Once you have ensured these things and the issue persists, you can follow the steps below to get your printer online again.

Go to the Control Panel on your Windows and select Devices and Printers.

Navigate and right-click on the printer that is Offline and click on See What’s Printing.

Now go to the Printer section and select the “Use Printer Online” option.

This should bring back your printer online if it was showing offline. You can try printing something to make sure your issue is resolved. If the problem persists, try updating the printer drivers on your device. If that doesn’t work either, you should install the latest and compatible drivers from the printer website.

Note that you can follow these steps for any printer brand, HP, Epson, Brother, etc. If you are not able to fix your issue on your own, feel free to reach our printer support experts for assistance.
