Review: I have read 2-3 translations of The Bhagvad Gita, and I find this one the most satisfying. It is short - because the translator does not give his own lecture and opinion - and his sincerity in adhering to accuracy is apparent. The artwork is a nice distraction when pondering.
The binding is delicate. I bought the same book 3 times over the years. It is a small inconvenience in the big picture.
It is in Old English because it is written during the time India was a colony of Britain. So, in addition to the Sanskrit names of the characters - in English they spell out long - you will have learn archaic words. But that adds to the charm of this translation.
