welcome back everyone today we're taking
a look at new breaking news from
fortnite relating to travis scott and
what's next to come from epic games my
condolences go to the a people who lost
their lives and their families and
anyone else who may have been affected
by this tragic event which took place at
the astroworld concert but today it
seems to be that fortnite will be taking
actions into their own hands now if

biggest questions i see from fans
relates to travis scott and everything
attached to him here inside of fortnite
now important note to remember is a few
four night seasons ago when the
washington football team name was
changed due to the background of that
name then fortnite decided in their best
interest to stay away from any
controversial topics so it was best for
them to then have the option to refund
all players and have those players able
to refund that football skin now this is
an interesting fact considering this is
all the biggest collaborations based
from the item shop sales which the nfl
skins being the biggest collaboration
ever to happen yet still ended in epic
games refunding many players from those
nfl skins sales why i bring this point
forward is because that being their
number one sale ever in the history of
fortnite they still realize this
situation at hand and knew that change
must come after that topic was alarming
to many people and as big as a company
as epic games is they never want to have
things in their game that may alarm
their customers from shying away so
there's now many new changes coming
forward first being in the item shop the
other day fortnite status put out a
tweet stating that they have deleted the
daily item shop which was intentional
now as you can see in that daily item
shop the out west icon series email was
added now those who don't know the item
shop rotation well usually fortnite
re-releases many item shop cosmetics
right around the 30-day mark of the last
time it was added and because it was
right around that time again it was then
re-added to the item shop so it really
wasn't a fault from epic it's not like
they did it on purpose it was more of a
coincidence that it happened just at the
wrong time and because of what happened
at astroworld it was not an appropriate
time to have a travis scott emote in the
item shop for profit for epic as well as
with travis so they ended up deleting it
which makes me question now the skin and
what's next to come with him as well as
you can see epic games is now confirmed
b18.40 into the staging servers which is
now confirmed and released on tuesday
november 16th now because of this update
fortnite will then most likely be giving
everyone the option to refund any item
relating to travis scott and or just the
skin itself now because this situation
is very similar to the nfl skins refund
so this obviously makes me believe that
those who no longer want to support that
will then have the option to receive v
bucks back in return and obviously get a
free refund for that incident for the
future travis scott and fortnite i
believe is over and will never make
another return of fortnite no matter how
the lawsuit goes just based around the
events which took place at astroworld
were quite disturbing to many like
myself and a lot of others so based off
everything we now know publicly i highly
believe that epic games will make this
situation right in the eyes of a major
company and really shy away from having
their name attached to someone who from
the eyes of the public doesn't look good
and obviously with the release of the
18.40 i expect those changes to then be
implemented
as well as with as of now they've
already been implemented as of the item
shop changes which has obviously
happened as well and the worst part is
the situation at hand could have really
been avoided i think this really shows
that safety no matter where you are is
very important to always remember just
because it may not happen often doesn't
mean it's not something that shouldn't
be considered highly and it's terrible
news to have people ranging from 14 to
27 years old losing their lives when
they simply wanted to have fun at a
concert and the different video
surfacing really shows that the venue
itself was not prepared for the moment
nor anyone else involved in this
specific situation i guess we'll really
have to see what happens later on in the
weeks which obviously comes with
different lawsuits and obviously major
things happening because you guys asked
a lot about this situation i wanted to
update you all specifically on what i
thought and i wanted to talk a bit on my
side to really spread the awareness and
not just leave it be because sometimes
it's good to have these conversations to
talk about them and just make people
really remember hey always respect other
people even if you guys don't know them
it goes a really long way and just show
the same respect you guys would want to
be shown as well to others that's a huge
thing i've been taught so just wanted to
gather my thoughts for a few days really
explain this as well and not just make a
video quick on it and this is really
what i believe we could see moving
forward here inside of fortnite for all
of those that have been asking me over
