Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome's son, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He completed his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. The university awarded him an BSc.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey in ministry while at AAU. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. The Believer's LoveWorld is home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.

Oyakhilome Through its 2002 environment for miracles, BLW was the most popular Christian television ministry in Africa. They stopped airing the programme in the month of May 2004 when the president of the time, Nigeria - President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on TV.

Pastor Chris's Ministry comprises four different branches including publishing ministry, the healing ministry, television ministry; and teaching ministry. The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission to children is an evangelical nongovernmental Organisation. In 2005 the organization was founded to aid the most orphaned and needy children living in poverty.

These destitute children are supported by the foundation with participatory interventions, which include strengthening family programmes as well as child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created in order to enhance the health status and quality of life of communities and countries by promoting enhanced emergency response capabilities for accidents and emergencies. The foundation has been established to support national policies concerning trauma treatment through advocacy, health education in the community, community-based programs, and advocacy.
