Rules for calculating points for Ngau Ham cards
Similar to how to play Ngau Ham card game , the scoring rules of this game are not too complicated, specific instructions are as follows:
Ace card corresponds to 1 point
The cards J, Q, K are assigned 10 points
For cards from 2 to 10, the value will correspond to the number written on the face of the card
Large and small order
In playing Ngau Ham , the cards need to have a certain order and be arranged according to the following rules:
When all 5 cards are Western cards, meaning J, Q, K, this is the deck of cards with the highest value in the game.
If the total score of a group of 3 cards and a group of 2 cards is a multiple of 10, it is called a win
When a group of 3 cards has a total score that is a multiple of 10 but a group of 2 cards has a total score between 7 and 9, it is called cool 7, cool 8 or cool 9 depending on the score of the second group.
Similarly, when a group of 3 cards is a multiple of 10 but the remaining group is only between 2 and 6 points and the scores are made up of cards from 2 to 10, it will also be called cool 2 to cool 6.
How to Play Ngau Ham Cards stipulates that if a group of 3 cards has a total score that is not a multiple of 10, it is called uncool.
In addition, when the dealer and player have equal scores, the win or loss will be determined based on each side's highest value card. If the dealer's and player's cards have the same value, the suit will be considered in order from largest to smallest: Hearts - Diamonds - Clubs - Spades.
