Overview
Just Another Walk and Other Stories is a collection of a few of the first stories written by Zachary Weaver. These four stories all focus on suspense, but each dips into a range from comedy to drama. "Just Another Walk" follows a girl and her cat, Kit, as they go about their daily walk when they are ambushed by a heavy snowstorm. In "The Last Bus, " a group of school friends face a life-altering tragedy on a routine bus ride. In "Venus the Flytrap, " an exhausted man is returning home late from work as he runs into an eerie, older lady in the elevator of his apartment building. Alongside her, she carries a suspicious gift to brighten a strangers day. Following a broken family, "The Day's Game" covers the disfunction of a family in pieces during the morning leading up to a high school softball game.
