The movie 'Dream' Tells The Story Of A Group Of People Who Try To Take Part In The Homeless World Cup, An Annual International Football Event. Park Seo Joon Plays Yoon Hong Dae.
Park Seo Joon at the end of last February tested positive for COVID-19. The actor born in 1988 was announced to have no special symptoms but still had to undergo self-quarantine as recommended by the South Korean government.
About a week later, Park Seo Joon was reported to have recovered from COVID-19. On Thursday (3/3), a source from the movie industry reported that the star of the drama " Itaewon Class " had flown to Hungary to continue movies for his big screen project "Dream".
Park Seo Joon's positive COVID-19 results previously raised concerns about whether he would be able to join movies in Hungary. Luckily this recovery allowed him to join the last production crew member on the plane to Hungary.
"Dream" is a movie directed by Lee Byeong Heon who is famous for his hit movie " Extreme Job ". "This is a project that I have prepared for a long time, and it means a lot to me. We have an amazing cast of actors, and I enjoy working with them," said the director during a script reading session.
The movie, which also stars IU , tells the story of a group of people who try to take part in the Homeless World Cup, an annual international soccer event. Park Seo Joon plays Yoon Hong Dae, a professional soccer player on disciplinary probation who becomes the coach of a ragtag soccer team.
Meanwhile, IU plays Lee So Min, a director who makes a documentary about the ragtag soccer team. Lee Hyun Woo is also confirmed to take part in "Dream" as a soccer player.
On the other hand, this movie has started movies since March 2020 and was delayed for a long time due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. After two years had passed, the "Dream" team finally managed to schedule a difficult overseas shoot in Hungary.
Meanwhile, the production crew and actors of this movie plan to return to South Korea after movies in Hungary for approximately one month. "Dream" was originally scheduled to premiere in 2021 and has not yet determined a new broadcast schedule.
