Its only real drawback is that it does not offer the same level of customization as other bean to cup models we've evaluated. It has a 15 bar pump, rather than the usual 19 bars, which isn't as good for making high-quality espressos. However it's a great bean-to-cup machine for those who prefer their coffee strong and dark. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of features that differentiate it from the rest of the competitors. The most distinctive feature could be the fact that it can be controlled by your smartphone with the Melitta Connect App. This allows you to change the settings and then dispense different coffee recipes stored inside the machine.
This makes the machine very flexible and adaptable to your taste. There are many options to alter the intensity of your beverage, cup sizes and even if you would like milk added. The machine comes with two airtight containers that are automatically sorted for different types of coffee. It is set to standard espresso beans in one and cafe cream (a German variation of long black or flat white) in the other however, you are able to select whatever beans you like. There is also a chute that can be used for beans that are already ground if you prefer to make your own.
