1) Open Device Manager.
2) Scroll down to look for Sound, video and game controllers.
3) Right-Click on NVIDIA High Definition Audio Device and Update Driver Software.
4) Browse my computer for driver software → Let me pick from a list of device divers on my computer → Double Left-Click on High Definition Audio Device → Yes.
5) You might get a message asking you to restart. Pick Yes.
Now go back to your sound options to enable Loudness Equalization. It should now work and you will see the name "High Definition Audio Device" without the "NVIDIA".
