Modern applications of rope access include surveys, inspection, maintenance, electrical and metal works, cutting and handling of heavy materials. In old times, rope access technicians would be found rock climbing, but now-a-days, it can be easily taken up as a career for people with basic fitness and determination towards their jobs.
