Through compelling testimonies, the way the President and his accomplices have created intricate illegal schemes for personal gain is laid bare. In this investigation, the author addresses disturbing instances that range from the Department of Public Education turned into a school of embezzlement, to the police transformed into an illegal savings account. She also explores how the current administration flirts with organized crime, and the destruction of other institutions, such as Notimex. Furthermore, she exposes the exercise of influencing practices and the nepotism of several public officials, the inexplicable finances of the self-proclaimed “not first lady,” and the extortionary activities of the President’s children. However, the epicenter is the theft of elder people, López-Obrador’s flagship program. Despite condemning the “social sin” of his opposition, this book includes evidence that one of his main operators has also committed a “social crime”, deviating millions of pesos and exponentially inflating the beneficiaries register.
