The BNP welcomes reasonable discussions on all proposals in this regard, it said, "But BNP does not support the strategy of depriving the people of their voting rights and the right to establish ownership of the state by wasting unnecessary time in attempts to denigrate and make party or group interests and politics or political institutions irrelevant."
Expressing its support for the necessary reforms, BNP said that the fallen fascist government has corrupted the country's constitution, laws, rules, institutions and even responsible persons to such an extent that changes and reforms are inevitable in many areas for holding a free, fair and impartial election. BNP has expressed its support and cooperation with the government's initiatives in this regard.
