Roasting

Lazy Sunday is an easy roast that is pleasant to drink. It softens and transforms into an opulent hug to your senses. The cocoa sourced from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a cup that can be consumed by itself, or paired with cake or milk chocolate. It's a perfect match for vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.

When brewing this coffee we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boil water to ensure it is warm and ready for brewing. After brewing, let it sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water must be pushed through using the plunger. Don't stir or agitate your coffee as this can cause unpleasant ingredients to appear in the cup.

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast with the sweet scent of cocoa and citrus. It has a silky mouthfeel that softens the palate. The hints of cocoa can be traced back to a winter's day spent on the sofa with a good book and a hug from the family. Prepare your French Press by using water that isn't yet at boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from over extracting and forming unwanted elements in your drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that is off the boil. Steep for 4 minutes, plunge and enjoy.
