Lightest Double Stroller
When you're searching for a light double-stroller, its folded size and weight are important factors to consider. Choosing one that's easy to handle and compact when not in use makes it easier to place in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.
The best lightweight strollers have a simple, intuitive fold that lets them stand up on their own. This helps reduce stress on the body of the parent. Many strollers come with various seating options and some are able to accommodate car seats for infants.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Designed for families who are constantly on the move. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheels and the multi-position reclining seats can be used for children up to 50 pounds. Trays for both children and parents with a large storage basket as well as 3-tier canopy that has a windows that peek out to maximize sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to a flimsy feel, hard plastic seats and a design that is old-fashioned. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter. This makes it a poor option for parents looking for the cheapest option.
While it's not the most light double stroller, it does have enough features worth a look. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it can jump curbs with ease unlike other light strollers that veer off course when trying to accomplish the same thing. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle has a disadvantage. It's not adjustable and it's not adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push your legs suspended in the air and it's not helping that it lacks padding.
During our testing, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. It's a little more challenging to close the cloud, however. You must slide a slider before you push a large white button to cause it to collapse. This can be a hassle especially if you're trying to manage kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a compact but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate the size of a large diaper bag. It's a little narrow, though, and you'll likely have to put something in to reach the back to take it out. The Cloud includes an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders. However, both are too narrow for larger cups or bottles.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's perfect for traveling. It's extremely light at 18 lbs (lighter than some single strollers!) It folds flat to make it easy to carry and store. It also has independently reclined seats and large all-weather SPF50 sun visors with large windows with peekaboos and under-seat storage bags. The visors are adjustable to fit children of different heights. It also has one-step linked parking brake and is Disney-size approved.
Jeep's swivel wheel system is also great for navigating over bumps and uneven terrain. The stroller does not accept car seats, so your little ones should be at least 6+ months old and have good neck control in order to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with three panels of sun canopy, and each seat comes with its own cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is yet another extremely light side by side stroller. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 lbs. However, it's tinier and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of exquisite details that make it perfect for travel. It is easy to fold, is very maneuverable and can be tucked away in trunks and overhead compartments of airplanes easily.
Similar to the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS but has a few key distinctions. It's more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're seeking a stroller which is lightweight but also loaded with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not just light at 13 lbs, but it comes with plenty of storage in the form of parent and child cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket and a parent storage pocket and much more. It can also be used with a child's chair and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easy to engage. It's designed to adapt to your children from a baby stroller to a toddler stroller by simply attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children 6 months old and up.
Another thing to take note of about this stroller is that it only runs on swivel wheels and doesn't have locking features which means it won't be the best choice for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a great option for families with children, since it can be easily maneuvered on paved surfaces and other smooth surfaces.
This stroller is one of the lightest double strollers, with full-size features in an elegant compact design. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it down with just one hand in seconds, and it's small enough to fit easily into your garage or trunk. It can also be used as an infant stroller and is compatible with most car seats without the need for adapters.
Contrary to the majority of lightweight strollers unlike other strollers that are lightweight, the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ has two separate seats and can hold up to 50 lbs. per seat (100 pounds total). The seats have individual leg rests as well as 3-panel canopies with flip-out sunvisors and peekaboo window.
The seats are padded to ensure your baby's comfort and come with a padded 5-point safety harness that can be adjusted to three different heights. https://www.pushchairsandprams.uk/categories/double-pushchairs comes with a built-in infant cushion, which is great for infants. Parents will love the cup for both parents and children, as well as the holders, the cell phone holder, and large storage basket. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents who want an easy-to-use double stroller that can hold two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable and offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows children to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it comes with a completely reclined seat, which makes it an ideal choice for nap time. Its recline mechanism is easy to use but doesn't go genuinely flat; taller kids may notice a dangling leg when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a huge canopy which we found to be superior in blocking out sunlight than other strollers in our best double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to easily maneuver through door frames, which was a big issue for us with some other models in our testing. It folds easily, and its handlebars are close to the ground for easy transport. The only issue is its small storage space. When full of toys for kids it can feel cramped.
Joovy is a family-owned company is a pioneer in the design of functional, innovative and high-quality baby products. The prices are reasonable and usually have appealing designs that are appealing to children.
In our tests on double strollers, we look at several factors to determine how easy an item is to use, such as how simple it is to fold and set up, adjust the safety harness as well as close and open the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller like you would put it into a car trunk, and install and remove an infant car seat (if necessary). We also analyzed the strength and durability of each model, as well as whether it has a parent tray that can hold both children trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program for its ease of use. It also earned the highest score in our updated guide to the top double strollers. Its user-friendly design features one-hand recline that is tilt-free and a canopy that rotates forward for shade, a ventilation mesh you can see through when it's tilted. It also has individual kid trays with built-in cup holders, zip-up parent pockets as well as a huge storage basket.
