Roasting
Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is pleasant to drink. It mellows and becomes a warm hug to your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa brings citrus hints to add balance. The result is a cup that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It would also compliment lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.
When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boil water to keep it warm and ready for brewing. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through the grounds with the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, this can result in unpleasant components in your cup.
Strength - 3, gentle and easy going, great for relaxing at the weekend.
