I'll have to try to move it over. For whatever reason the Control Center saves up the names of the devices in the drop-down menu, even though the devices have been thoroughly uninstalled numerous times.

Open the Control Center 4 Application. You can click on the desktop icon or open the application from the All Programs Programs menu after clicking on the Start button. Depending on the mode you have selected you will see one of two screens. Depending on which mode you have selected, please follow the appropriate instructions. On the file type you will see a dropdown in the left corner titled File Type. Note: You may also change the file type in the Image Tab as well. The scan will be initiated and displayed on the screen. Your issue should be resolved. SystemCop will be useful both for professionals... I have tried a multitude of solutions, and none have worked yet. Your last post linking to the Brother website is the method I've used for years. I have attached my system information if there is anything else that might help! That's very intuitive of you, Night Hawk. I don't know if you will have to follow the same process but for the first time ever in my experience with tech support for any company... Brother requires that you install the driver package before you plug the machine into your computer.
