The complicated story involves the military conquest of a peaceful island-nation by an evil despot and his sorcerer ally. In quality the fight scenes are above average for it's time and the dubbing is so bad it's good ; You just have to download this gem if you like martial arts-flicks from the seventies, this is no doubt memorable. The story line is a bit hard to follow due to choppy editing and very little dialogue that doesn't have anything to do just progressing the movie to the next fight scene. The sound effects are so out of control that I found myself really enjoying the action sequences because they are so cliche. And who can resist the gratuitous violence especially when a dwarf is envolved. It harkens back to the days of Yoda. The story has some magical themes and fantasy sequences that I find so fasinating about imported films. It's like a window into a culture so rich in spirtuality and mystism so unknown to the American way of life. Most of the action seens are pixilated but this movie is still fun to watch. Any avid kung fu fan should ad this one to their list of must sees.
