Jimi Hendrix was at the top of this flight in blues progression and it was in 1968 that he was soaking in the New York
jam scene unlike any other artist and on the evening of April 15, 1968, Hendrix took to the stage with B.B. King.
Paul Butterfield, Elvin Bishop, Al Kooper and many others for one of the world s greatest blues jams ever
captured in a small club setting.
Apparently this show was a tribute to Martin Luther King, shortly after his assassination.
