Overview
VeronicaThings just happen to me. When I say things I mean weird things. I see things that aren't there. I get feelings about events that haven't even happened yet. Dreams of fire and ghostly figures that make no sense, and linger in my subconscious long after I awake. Sometimes I think I'm crazy. I'm not the only one. My parents sure thought so. I spent most of my childhood seeing doctors, all attempting to "fix" me. I lost count of the amount of prescription drugs forced onto me, hoping to get my mind right. Nothing ever worked. So I accepted my reality, finding ways to calm the psychosis. Just when I thought I had a handle on the insanity in my mind, he appeared. AethervexI was drawn to her. Her energy is so great that it called to me, breaking through the planes of existence, all the way to my realm. For years, I waited, hoping for the moment that her energy would be strong enough for me to link to. And at long last, that time came as the prophecy of my people had predicted. Her cries for help were so strong that they broke through the divide separating our worlds allowing me access to the mortal realm. Upon rescuing her from an early, and tragic death she looked up at me as if I were some sort of hero. But she's going to learn that I'm no human's hero. Her rescue comes with a price, one that may have her wishing she never accepted my help that night.
