The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique riding experience and hiking experience which is enjoyed by everyone.
The Kerem Tunnel, Israel's newest cycle tunnel, is constructed as a part of the 42-kilometer cycle route which is a loop around the capital.
נווה פריצקי The tunnel links Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The tunnel's southern entrance can be found within Refaim Park below Ein Laban. The northern entrance is located in Nahal Ein Kerem about half one kilometer from the Kerem junction.
The 2.1-kilometer long tunnel was inaugurated on Thursday by Jerusalem and the heritage minister Ze'ev Elkin and Moshe Lion, the Mayor. Moshe Lion. Avi Baleshnikov of Gihon Chairman of Gihon and a plethora of other cyclists were also present.

Elkin, whose ministry and the Jerusalem Municipality led the project, stated that the Jerusalem Municipality's ministry "invests hundreds of millions of shekels annually to develop all aspects of Jerusalem's tourism and the creation and operation of exciting attractions, ventures , and other attractions that connect the glorious history of Jerusalem to the future". In the 1990s, the Kerem Tunnel was excavated to relocate the main sewer line of Gihon Corporation to the Sorek purification plant. It is now utilized as an infrastructure tunnel. It is also home to the fifth water line to Jerusalem from the Mekorot water company.

To make the tunnel usable to the general public throughout the year the work includes road construction as well as the installation of blowers.
Kerem Tunnel Kerem Tunnel provides access to unique recreation locations, including Ein Kerem neighbourhood, the biblical aquarium and zoo , as well as the natural springs of historical significance Ein Haniyeh, Ein Laban, and Ein Haniyeh.
