Review: Absolutely what I was looking for: an excellent technique for shading. For me, much better than using tortillons and easier to apply.This shading allows for the magic ingredient in any painting or drawing to be achieved: charm. Unlike the modern style of "photorealistic " art works that lack charm. My camera can achieve the best in photo realism in a split second but never capture the charm of portraits, drawn or painted, of yesteryear.

Review: I was looking forward to receiving this book, but I am really disappointed because the book shows only a few items to draw. The 44 pages on drawing a face were particularly annoying because each page shows the entire face with tiny variations, I couldn’t even tell the difference between most of the images. I will continue my quest for the perfect drawing book, this one isn’t it, for me.

Review: A rip off from start to finish! The title says "How to draw with photorealism" but 88 pages in the entire 233 page book, cover the drawing of only ONE female face in various stages! This book is misleading. You only learn to copy a few drawings...8 to be exact! You are not taught a variety of subjects. A book of this number of pages would suggest that there is something to learn here. In addition, the print/shading is light and looks cheap! I feel I have been robbed! I actually bought 2 copies to encourage my nephew to learn to draw. A waste of money. If Ms Jasmina Susak wanted money without working for it, there are other choices. She could sit at the side of the road with a tin can or start a Go Fund Me page. Please don't rob people of their hard earned money under false pretenses.

Review: The information is there but the book itself has been made as cheaply as possible and the artist who is teaching the methods doesn't seem at all that great. The images in the preview are better than the book itself somehow. So you can learn some techniques from someone who can instruct about techniques but they are not all that great themselves and the quality of the book is lacking. Not sure if this is an illegal copy or what.

Review: Got for my 11 year old granddaughter, who loves to draw. She used the book the first day she got it. She says it’s very helpful and tells you exactly what to do. Tells you what additional things you need like q-tips etc. tells you about using light pressure and hard pressure.

Review: This book is for people who want to take their time and go for perfection. I've already drawn the flower the face the eyes the lips the nose better than I have before. It takes a fellow Hungarian to come up with something this outstanding. The brits with far less to show for it call their books master class. I beg to differ. I got more techniques out of this book than I have in the last year of learning how to draw. I recommend this book for you she explains everything in perfect detail. this is my new go to book and I have many.
