A Crow, Some Sugar, A Book, and a Blade, is a collection of flash fiction stories that have been published over the past couple of years. The four stories range from One-sided love, the pain of betrayal, and the fear of knowledge. this collection contains romance and thriller as the main features of this collection. The first story, "The Crow and Love" is a heartbreaking story about a smart young man named Vulcain Phestus and his planned confession to the one he loves and the bad omens that peer into view at every corner, with a crow following closely behind. The second story, "Shadows of Regrets" is a thrilling and chilling tale about Damien and his boss going on a trip together. Damien plans to get rid of his boss but little does he know, his boss has hidden plans as well. The third story in this collection, "A Mimic of a Bond" is a story about a Mimic, a creature that is well known for its shapeshifting abilities. One day this one gets picked up and brought into the home of a monster hunter. Swiftly attempting to escape. Finally, "Honor for the Family" is a twisted retelling of the goddess Amaterasu and her brother Susano from Japanese Mythology. Amaterasu allows her brother to visit before he leaves the kingdom however her trust is betrayed as her brother attempts to lock her away for good.
