Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome and was born on the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He received his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After his graduation, he received an BSc Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He holds an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was one time a husband to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

YFC grew, and it became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the main location for the church. Believer's LoveWorld is a global ministry with millions of associates across the world.
