Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on December 7, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He received his elementary and secondary education from Ambrose Alli University. After graduation, he earned the degree of BSc Architecture.

While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was known at that time as Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld is a global ministry that has millions and associates worldwide. Through the"Atmosphere for Miracles" series, BLW became Africa's most prominent Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing it in May 2004 when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop broadcasting miracles.

Pastor Chris's Ministry is comprised of four components that include publishing ministry (healing ministry), television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry).
