Title: A new take on an old story

Review: I am not one for inspirational books, but "Science of Story" doesn't fit the usual mold. After a while, business books tend to blend together for me because they regurgitate the same old information I have heard a million times without offering much proof that their processes work.However, "Science of Story" was different. The natural flow and voice of the book made me feel like I was reading a narrative--not a textbook.The seemingly endless case studies showed me Adam and Hank's theories in action and acted as proof that small cultural changes can not only mean an overall better working environment but also a bigger bottom line. I highly recommend this to anyone just starting out their entrepreneurial journey or any old timers looking to bring new life into their respective businesses.

Title: A well researched and insightful book on purpose-driven story telling

Review: Once in a while you believe in a particular idea but haven't really coalesced it into a good set of organized points, or a specific vocabulary, and you haven't researched the facts behind your theory either; then you find a book that ties it all together. The science of story is a bit like that for me with regards to the idea that that genuine/authentic people and companies fare and communicate better.
Unlike many non-fiction books, you can't just read the first 30 pages and assume the remaining 270 are repeats and examples of the same idea, the core concept is woven into a more pleasant reading that mixes the author's experience along with research, customer stories, and academic theories. A good read to understand the turning tide of story telling, from buzzword bingo to more genuine values and messaging.
