Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family members to be born. He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school, then he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got an BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also conferred him with an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Chris Oyakhilome's ministry

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while he was still an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.

YFC increased in size, and became the largest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

Through the 2002 atmosphere of miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. The programme was canceled in May 2004 by the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that the churches would stop broadcasting miracles on TV.

Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four divisions including healing ministry, publishing ministry television ministry and teaching ministry. These ministries are what he used to create the healing school, the setting for miracles and Pastor Chris's global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative that seeks to increase the leadership potentials Africans were born, was established. The foundation supports and celebrates young Africans who have shown leadership skills through making a difference within their generation. They do this through education and mentoring youth and youth empowerment.

The foundation recognizes the young leaders by awarding them an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. It is held on the first day of each New Year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The winners receive an award from the president of BLW The Reverend Chris Oyakhilome.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based nongovernmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was created to aid the most needy and orphaned children living in poverty.

These destitute children are supported by the foundation with participatory interventions, which include strengthening family programmes , as also child development programmes.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded in order to enhance the health and quality of life of local communities and nations through the promotion of enhanced emergency response capabilities for accidents and emergencies. This foundation will help support national policies on trauma treatment by providing their advocacy as well as health education and community-based programs.

Over 1000 trainings on first aid, safety and emergency management were conducted by the foundation. Record has it that, they were able to train thousands of students in schools, law enforcement officers and teachers, caregivers, and road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)

The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a worldwide church that provides aid and medical assistance to people who are internally displaced or have been forced to flee areas affected by natural or manmade disasters.

VMC also provides health services to underserved communities and manpower development to local health professionals. VMC outreach is open to all those with the primary goal to improve health, and also provide humanitarian aid to those in need.

Bible For All Nation

Bible For All Mission is a christian, non-profit organization which is committed to the production, distribution and distribution worldwide of the Bible for all ages and genders in the format and language they comprehend. The outreach is helping people understand God's Word, and his life-changing message.

BFAM successfully distributed hundreds and thousands of free Rhapsody Bibles to hospitals, prisons and communities in many countries such as South Africa and Nigeria. Thanks to the robust group of Bible volunteer sponsors across the globe the outreach was possible.
