A Veteran player (or VET) Is a player in good standing typically with other players, who has put much time into the game of Starport, is a good influence or role model to new players and helps them learn the game directly or indirectly and maintains a certain level of composure in game as well as skill and or willpower, interest, determination and honour. Someone that a new player can look up to. Also not one to be easily messed with.

Exception to this rule: Players that use tokens as a way to gain fame, such as paying to kill people for their exp and becoming #1 on a new perma solely because of the amount they have spent on the game.
