How To Fix Minecraft Launcher Installer Not Working

While Minecraft is playable on all kinds of devices but some people have preference to play the game on a PC which allows you to play both the Bedrock and Java versions of the game. Before you can play the games you must first get them onto your hard drive. If you are having issues getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work, here are some suggestions to fix it.

Log in to confirm the date, time , and region

If you're having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher to install, we recommend first restarting your computer, then sign out, then logging returning to the Microsoft Store or the Xbox apps, whichever one you are using to access the launcher. Now that all versions of Minecraft are on Game Pass, you can try to install the launcher through this application. To sign out, click on your profile icon on the upper right corner of the window and then Sign out.

Also, make sure that your date and time are correctly displayed on your computer. If they aren't, right-click on the date and time in lower right-hand corner of your screen and choose Adjust date/time. Make sure that Set time automatically is enabled and that Set time zone automatically is on. Under Synchronize your clock, click"Sync Now. Before exiting LIBERTY select Region on the left-hand side of the screen and ensure that you have the correct region that you are in selected.

Troubleshoot Windows Store and install Windows

Open Settings - Click on Update and Security.

Click on Troubleshoot and then click on Additional troubleshooters.

Scroll down to the bottom and choose Windows Store Apps.

Follow the steps here and then reset your PC.

If you haven't updated your Windows in the past few months, open Settings and select Update & Security. Under Windows Update, click Check for updates.

Reset the store

If troubleshooting didn't work, we recommend resetting the store. Click on your search bar next to the Start button, and then type in the word wsreset. A black box will pop up when you click the Run command entry. Do nothing until the box disappears and the store opens again.

Next step is to open Settings and then click Apps. Find the Microsoft Store in the search bar. Click on it, then select Advanced Options. Scroll down and select Reset. You will be required to sign in again.
