The Kerem Tunnel is a great spot to hike and ride.

The Kerem Tunnel is the first bike tunnel in Israel and was officially opened in the year 2000 as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycle route that circles Jerusalem, the capital city.

The tunnel links Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. The southern entrance of the tunnel is below Ein Laban in Refaim Park. The northern entrance can be found in Nahal Ein Kerem.

The 2.1-kilometer-long tunnel was officially inaugurated by Jerusalem's Heritage Minister ZeevElkin. The ceremony was also attended by Mayor Moshelion, Avi Balehnikov Gihon Water Company Chairman, and many cyclists.

The Kerem Tunnel provides access to unique recreation locations, including Ein Kerem neighbourhood, the Biblical aquarium and zoo as well as the natural springs of historical significance Ein Haniyeh, Ein Laban, and Ein Haniyeh.
