Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. Following his primary and secondary education, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded an BSc. in Architecture. AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry when he was in school at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship is today Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers' LoveWorld fellowship.

YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is now a global ministry with millions of followers and associates all around the world.

Through the 2002 atmosphere for miracles programme, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on TV in Africa.
